Dr. Gloria Bonder, member of the WISAT Board of Directors, was interviewed by Nature blogs about her work in women, science and gender equality in Latin America. She talks about recent data on women in science, and what is needed in policy and education, including more qualitative research on women who are successfully developing careers in engineering, technology and science.

WISAT shortlisted for ITU-UN Women GEM-Tech Award
WISAT is among the five shortlisted nominations for the Gender Equality Mainstreaming – Technology (GEM-TECH) Award in Category 5, Closing the ICT Gender Gap. WISAT was nominated for Dr. Nancy Hafkin’s work on the ITU-UNCTAD report, “Measuring ICT and Gender: An Assessment – Report prepared for the Partnership on Measuring ICT for Development.”
