Sophia Huyer, WISAT Executive Director, presented “Gender Equality and STI in the Knowledge Society: an International Comparison” as part of the Gender and Science Panel at the Brazilian Association of Neuroscience, in Buzios, Brazil on September 13, 2014. The event was very successful and helped to create “buzz” about the issues at the conference. This panel was followed by a Women in Science event at the Institute of Biophysics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Presentation available here.
